Alternate method to submit your work to Africa 2020
Please use this method if you are not able to submit your work directly the SDN website because of slow or unreliable internet.
To be eligible for Africa 2020, you must be from any country on the African continent, working there today, and the theme of your work must have something to do with Africa.
Please send the following materials using WeTransfer.com to
info@socialdocumentary.net.
1. A text document to include the following:
Your Name
City of residence
Country of residence
Phone number
Email address
Title of project
Country photos were taken in
Years photos were taken
Description of project. Must be under 180 words
Captions for each image. Make sure it is clear how to match up images with captions
Optional text may include:
Artist statement
Website address
Social media handles for Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, or other social media
2. Images
You must submit a minimum of six images, or a maximum of 30 images, related to a theme as described in your project description.
Images must be a minimum of 1500 pixels in one dimension and a maximum of 5000 pixels.
3. Video (optional)
You may submit video as a link or embed code to YouTube, Vimeo, or other video sharing service. Please do NOT send video files.
Deadline
If you choose this method to submit your work, we must receive all completed materials by January 29, 2020.
Additional Information
By sending these materials, you agree to all terms for this call for entries as stated here.
By entering this Call for Entries, your work may become a live exhibit on the SDN website, viewable to the public for one year. After one year, you will receive renewal notifications, and you can choose to renew your exhibit for another year for a fee, or let your exhibit expire.
There is no fee to enter this call for entries.
