Published January 2026

These images were made during a ride-along during a joint operation between the Laramie County Sheriff's Office, ICE, and the Wyoming Highway Patrol. The operation was targeted towards commercial motor vehicle (CMV) enforcement. The operation resulted in:

-49 stops (16 commercial vehicles)

-3 ICE arrests, one non-immigration arrest

- 13 citations

Roughly 28 deputies with the Sheriff's office completed “287(g)” training, a federal program allowing state and local police to enforce federal immigration law after attending a four-week U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) program.
