About On Documentary

 

On Documentary is a blog of the Social Documentary Network giving a platform to photographers to share their documentary photography, talk about their practice, and to gain greater awareness about the issues explored in their work.

 

Submissions to On Documentary must be about work that is already on the SDN website. Submissions should include near-completed manuscript of text between 500 and 1000 words that discusses the personal photographic practice of the photographer, the issues that are being explored, and ideally how the former informs the latter. The submission should also include the URL of the work on the SDN website.

 

If the work is accepted, SDN will do minor copy editing as needed. The author is expected to submit finished and edited text.
