ZEKE: THE WOMEN'S ISSUE
Advertising and Sponsorship Information
Show your support for women photographers!
Publication date: April 2018
ZEKE magazine is proud to celebrate women photographers with the Spring 2018 Women's Issue featuring only women photographers and writers and guest-edited by J. Sybylla Smith. Women photographers have been at the forefront of the medium since 1839 when photography debuted on the global stage but have often faced unique challenges due to discrimination and sexism in a craft and profession dominated by men.
Jurors for the Call for Entries for this issue include Daniella Zalcman, founder of Women Photograph; Deborah Willis, Chair of the Department of Photography & Imaging at the Tisch School of the Arts at NYU; Amy Yenkin, former director of the Documentary Photography Project at the Open Society Foundations; Amy Pereira, former director of photography at MSNBC, and others.
